His Disciples Cooking Ministry is  a non-profit (501c3)  group whose volunteers join forces to bring Texas style barbeque - and anything else we can cook on a pit - to the needy, the forgotten and those in need of fellowship. Our message is simple: "taste and see the goodness of the Lord", from the Book of Psalms.

His Disciples believe there are many ways to spread God's love and word, and sometimes the sweet smell of brisket is a good start! For the past few years, we have been successful at bringing food, fellowship and the gospel message of charity to over 75 groups. Some recipients of these "cookouts", as we call them, have been the Urban Boy Scouts of Greater Houston,  thousands of homeless at various soup kitchens, and several members of the disabled community who could not afford a catered meal.  What distinguishes our cooking team from a regular caterer?  We never charge the recipients for the meals they receive!  We cook to spread kindness and compassion while providing much needed nourishment.
